As the title said, I dont get the hate for Ash winning against Hau. Was it a lil trollish, yes, but I found it funny. And about the whole plot armour thing, I am sure Ash had plot armour in a lot of his gym battles or in the movies.

For me, I am the type who is aggressive in battles (Note I am talking casual), I replace all my pokemon defensive, healing, and support moves and just give them attack moves. The only support move I keep is Dark Void for Darkrai, as it is such a great move (Until Sun and Moon came along).

Sinnoh was to easy for you, you are talking about Elite 4 that is said to be the hardest. Also, I feel that Solgaleo is not much stronger than a regular pokemon, in fact he fainted the most out of all my pokemon when I was fighting the Elite 4.
