Had they did that, and wrapped up Ash's story in Johto, I think the Anime would have been fine...

Pokemon was already popular before Johto, so to me there always was gonna be episodes afterwards. But anyway, I think they just didn't have a clue on how to focus on Misty and Brock...

Back when the anime first started airing, the Dubbed version was roughly a year behind the original from japan...

Its not illegal to own a Pokemon at a young age. Its that they can't go off on their own pokemon journey until then

Add me to the list of people who thought they should have changed protagonists ages ago. But I am intrigued to see what new direction this will take the anime...

I really wouldn't call them errors. Moves may work differently in the Anime..

The one where ash battled Scizor

I think had they wanted to, they could have easily used Johto to qrap up Ash's story...

If they wanted to, they could have wrapped up and ended Ash's journey in Johto and started Hoenn with a new main character . .

I loved when 4Kids dubbed Pokemon. Yeah they got a few things wromg and made too many puns, but that is what made it cool...
