I sometimes like to get the rarer gender in a pokemon, such as my Leafeon. There's only a 12.5% chance to hatch a female Eevee, so I was very happy when one did hatch, and I promptly turned it into a Leafeon.

So far, I've only caught Dialga simply by kicking the snot out of him before-hand. No status effect was needed. I got two rolls on both Regigigas and Uxie, but I had to catch them with Dusk Balls before they killed themselves from struggling.

I use my Vespiquen whenever I can. Love her to death. :D

I'd go with neither of them, to be perfectly honest! Diamond and Pearl really didn't do a good job as far as bring trype variation. In Sinnoh dex, the only fire Pokemon are Ponyta and Rapidash, and the only electric types are the Pikachu and Shinx evolution chains. Neither option in Sinnohdex...

I'm very sorry if I come off as a noob, or if these questions have already been asked, but I've just got to know a few things. 1) Leafeon has an ability called Leaf Guard, which prevents status problems. Theoretically, a Leafeon could be a restorative tank with its base 130 defense combined...
