The characters are interesting, but it really depends on how you portray their role in the story. Everything sounds good though, so even if this is a late post I'm wishing you the best of luck!

Hmm...this is a hard question, but I guess I would say Emerald out of the pokedex holders and Bill as other. I didn't really like Sapphire or Ruby at the start either, but they rubbed off on me. To the Yellow haters, I don't see why she's really so bad, I mean I think she's kind of a Mary...

I think it would be cool to see what Red and Gold did when they were training on Mount Silver too! And the training Gold and Crystal went through during the FRLG arc. The tournament would have been awesome! Hehehe!
