Never mind, there isn't any point. I already know how essentials works. Any other engine owner would probably be against me profiting off of their work. I just need to find a level ground with Maruno or give up on the whole idea.

I thought that the people that made Pokemon essentials coded it themselves? As long as I change the GameFreak assets and give credit to the people that made Pokemon essentials. And if it isn't a Pokemon game, and has different game mechanics, and looks different, will it not fall under fair use?
