I tried it, you can't actually talk to her at all, though a weird glitch occurs, and you can't use any doors if you AR through the walls when she's there.

Ah, and while I agree with the customization, it wouldn't necessarily hurt the manga. For instance, allow customization as an option after defeating the E4. Personally, I wish that they would do as they did in Gold, Silver, and Crystal, and let you travel to other regions after the E4...
