I'm aloud to transfer unobtainable pokemon from another game right? I'll trade off my starter for a Squirtle that will eventually become a Blastoise. I'm playing soulsilver.

Right now, I'm playing through a rom so I don't really care about catching too many pokemon but when I get my real copy of the game I'll try to catch the most I can.

I'm playing the japanese version of the game, and i don't know very much japanese. Everytime I try to enter the fourth gym a man pushes me out. What am I missing?

It all depends on if they rose the levels to something somewhat challenging in kanto.

In middle school I always hid my feelings about still liking pokemon. But last year as a freshmen I was open about it, and a bunch of my friends actually turned out to be pokemon players as well. My school isn't too judgmental.
