Believe we're at 78/75 only. Some of the more common ones have eluded us, but our neighborhood isn't known for any particularly rare stuff. Things I'd really like to catch (or get from eggs, where applicable) that we don't have: -Koffing -Ekans -Dratini -More Abras -More Gastly -Cubone -Scyther...

16, pretty good considering me and my wife only play together 1 day a week, and sometimes she'll play 1 day a week without me.

Do the best of both. Go somewhere with a bunch of Poke stops that have lures on them in close proximity. Activate the incense. Walk between the poke stops and catch the interesting things that appear.

Abra. Those don't spawn near me, and my wife was driving across a bridge not all that near where we live to visit a friend when one spawned in the park underneath it. I clicked on it to catch it. Game and GPS lagged out. Abra disappeared. Didn't even get to try for it. Not like we can turn...

Very happy with picking Bulbasaur. Have not gotten a chance to catch one in the wild yet. Caught 5 Squirtles, 1 Charmander, and 1 Pikachu so picking Bulbasaur at the beginning is the only reason I have all the starters.

Articuno was the best because of the ice type and moves. Freezing is just broken in Gen 1. Zapdos second best. Moltres third, but had the potential for so much more. If only it learned flamethrower at Level 51 instead of Leer... Fire blast made it redeemable but you'd run out of PP on that...

Dragonite. Simply cool. And OP as anything in link battles if equipped with agility, wrap, and toxic.

Still have red. And a game genie to get the ones from blue and the trade evolutions, since I only have one game boy.

Mewtwo with Psychic (with full PP ups), Amnesia, Substitute, and Recover was literally unstoppable. Amnesia was so broken. Substitute protected Mewtwo from status changes and high powered physical attacks. Nothing that did physical attacks could take out 10 subs before being shredded to pieces...
