Yeah it's the mega evolutions I mean, my venusaur tyranitar and gengar all have the mega evolution stones but don't mega evolve. All above lvl 95 and I'm near the end of the game. In the videos dragons dens starmie mega evolves at the same stage. I don't know what to do?

I have all the johto badges and mega evolution stones but my Pokémon won’t deep bond, am I missing something? I have given them the stones to hold
