3rd Gen Advance Generation Question & Answer

Okay, I have a rather long-winded question, so here goes: I am getting ready to restart my FR and am making plans for a good team. However, I have to breed certain pokemon (all from Kanto) in order to construct my team from the start. Can I trade some of the eggs into a game that is pre-E4 or...

3rd Gen Advance Generation Question & Answer

Just researched it. Apparently, two of the GameStops where I live currently stock it. That is even better than buying online due to my being able to see what I am purchasing more clearly. What should I do about Fire Red? Transport all the pokemon and the valuable items away before seeing...

3rd Gen Advance Generation Question & Answer

Do mean trade from Emerald? Or Fire Red? If the former, too late, the game deleted all of it. If you mean Fire Red, then that is going to be a long series of trades. What a pain. However, if we return to my first query, would it be safe to keep the pokemon from the bootleg? If will be a...

3rd Gen Advance Generation Question & Answer

Interestingly enough, both are green. However, the cartridge is more in tune with Leaf Green green and the title sticker is not shiny or matching the styles of Ruby or Sapphire. It was one of the first things I noticed when I started researching the subject. Thanks for reminding me about it.

3rd Gen Advance Generation Question & Answer

When I turn it on, it states, "The save file has been erased due to corruption or damage. The game can be played." Also, upon inspection, I noticed that the cartridge has a different number on the back (AGB-004, not AGB-002 like all my other Advance games), it was missing the Nintendo number...

3rd Gen Advance Generation Question & Answer

Think it's worth it to trade all the non-bootleggers over to another game and then see how long the game lasts? It might also turn out that nothing happens. I could study the phenomenon and see what happens. . .might be useful information to have. One never knows.

3rd Gen Advance Generation Question & Answer

Actually, if you look at my original post (#1120), I am more concerned with the side-effects of bootleg pokemon game trades with real pokemon games. I traded about 80 pokemon from a bootleg Emerald (I was unaware of the bootleg until it deleted itself about two months ago) to my real Fire Red...

3rd Gen Advance Generation Question & Answer

Is that how it works with cheating devices? If you used a cheating device to get a rare pokemon, would it affect the game negatively in any way? I just want to be very sure before I start using Fire Red again (took about 130-140 hours to get where I am currently). EDIT: I am assuming that...

3rd Gen Advance Generation Question & Answer

So, if I trade Pokemon from a bootleg game to a real game, what effect will it have? I ask because a few months back I bought a copy of Emerald that was bootleg. I was oblivious to the fact until it deleted itself and a trio of trainees from Fire Red. I also traded 80-120 eggs to Fire Red...

    3rd Gen What effect...

...do Pokemon from a bootleg game have on a regular game? I bought a bootleg copy of Emerald a few months back and only realized it was bootleg after it deleted itself and several trainees from Fire Red. I also traded about 80-120 eggs over to Fire Red (Pokedex booster). The eggs are the...
