Picking up a single sealed pack here and there from Wal-Mart or something is still fine. Just make sure it's the ones that Pokemon sells and not a 3rd party repack. If you have a LGS near you that you trust they should be fine to buy from too. Its the loose packs online from random sellers...

Status update for anyone who's checking this thread out: They've offered to replace the card :D Just need to get down to the post office and send it off. Hoping I can get this taken care of soon.

As a general rule: To collectors who want their collection in as mint of condition as possible, misprints/miscuts are fairly worthless. To those who are avid collections of printing errors and other mistakes that make it past QA, they're worth more.

Still, If I'm getting something brand new, I'd expect to be in "new" condition, not already damaged and worthless. The value isn't as important to me; it's the fact that I'm building a Lycanroc GX box and this puts me at needing one more copy than I expected for the deck.

Poor thing never got a chance. Just picked up a box from my local gamestop and didn't notice this until it was too late. I've sent in a ticket about it, hopefully they can do something? On the other hand, I did pull a FA Rotom Dex from one of the packs, so it wasn't all bad I guess? Still sucks...

I got a Decudueye GX and a Solgaleo GX from an Elite Trainer Kit. That was pretty sweet imo.

Hoping to try and get some more Decidueye GX's with those and the other Solgaleo GX I pulled.

Oops, memory failed me when it came to the ability (haven't physically seen the card in years). For some reason I guess I got stuck on a 20 dmg boost per energy when it's actually only 10. My bad haha.

It wouldn't be too bad at least. The 2 needed to use the attack (assuming both Darkrai's out) would deal 100 dmg. Add a third and it's 140. Yevaltal EX might actually be better with the Darkrai lvl X now that I think about it.... Hitting for a min 100 + whatever is on your opponent's pokemon...
