3rd Gen Leafgreen or Firered

I'm going to a game shop tommorrow to buy the remakes of RBY and I was just wondering which one should I buy? Firered or Leafgreen. Which version has better Pokemon? Which one should I buy?

Right or Left?

I'm cross-dominance. I write with my left but I throw and play sports with rackets like tennis and badminton. My right hand is a bit stronger than my left too.
