Hey! My crazy friend and I have started a super silly playthrough of Pokemon Blaze Black. We're not ultra hardcore or anything and are more about goofing off. The ultimate goal is to have all of the Pokemon though! New episodes are coming every day. EP 1 Rzd8KakAOos EP 2 --pDcGLVTHY

I'm playing Borderlands 2, FIFA 13, Battlefield 3, Pokemon Blaze Black, and some downloadable games on a semi regular basis.

Lugia for me, just because I always thought it looked cooler.

I thought it was fun little gimmick but I stopped using it pretty quickly.

At the end of the day I think Pokemon can look like anything I guess, but some of the designs in the current gen don't really mesh with the designs of the same gen. Almost as if there are multiple art styles. Anyway, that's just my opinion.

I've accidentally run away from all sorts of rare Pokemon because I wasn't paying attention. /vietnamflashbacks

I'm lucky that most of my friends are way into gaming in general so there isn't any teasing going on. But there have been cases and I usually respond with something like, 'dude it's just a game, you like dumb things such as ____ as well,' and that shuts them up.

Do you guys find D/P/PT to be the weakest in the main Pokemon games? I never wound up beating any of those. For some reason I would always just lose interest. Maybe at the time I just found the big generation and visual shift too jarring, who knows. I plan on going back at some point though.

Fire Red... purely because of the cover hahaha.

I had no clue about much of those areas until a year or two later when my friend freaked out at how bad I was at Pokemon.

I chose Mudkip in Sapphire and Squirtle in Fire Red. I usually tend to start with water in all of my games.

Probably poison for me. It really messes up how I play.

I think your style preference depends on what game you played first. I really dig the older stuff but I also like the new style. However, I do find that the new style sometimes looks like a cheesy flash game or something.

In my first run I used it on Kyogre in Sapphire. But I smartened up later, haha.

The one thing I hate the most is that you are constantly going back to the Pokemon Centre. You'll get into a forest or something with a lot of trainers and tall grass, and every couple of battles you gotta go back (unless you are already high level). And of course, the same structure from game...
