That's a really interesting find! While I'm not sure we'll be playing as a Team Galactic member in this game, we could possibly see the "origins" of Team Galactic's identity so to speak. Maybe this is a prototype team that involves going after Arceus? We could even see Cyrus' ancestors or even a...
Can't believe I'm posting on this site after 3 years lol
In all seriousness, this was the best decision art direction-wise. I'll get used to it in time. I think the main issue with Sw/Sh's art style is how inconsistent it is for specific areas. Smaller towns look pretty nice in that game, but...
Thank god. And it only took 20-something years LMAO.
The only thing they really need to do now in terms of things is just change it so all cut scenes can be skipped. Especially on a replay. I get having it play out the first time, but afterwards we should be able to skip them as per standard RPG.
Read through a bit from another forum. Some thoughts? I'm avoiding the story section for myself personally.
-I'm glad they at least understood to let us explore for the first half of the game. I think Let's Go was a right step in the direction. One major tutorial and that was it. I don't think...
Maybe they just aren't revealing them until the game comes out? They've clearly been more keen keeping this a secret this time around. (Hell, they had an everstone on Scorbunny in the E3 release) Whether or not that's successful we'll see. But the information for the games are usually uploaded...
The funny thing is that due to the influx of trailers, Corocoro is kind of..eh?...nowadays. We got some stuff part of the time, but it really hasn't pulled through this gen. My guess is that the marketing team realized the shift to video trailers was more effective building hype. Even SuMo's...
^ This.
I think some people don't realize that pokemon's pre-releases have never been balanced...at all. (And having different release dates for other countries didn't help that either) And this is coming from someone who's been a fan since gen 3. Even back then, we got very little in terms of...
I'm lucky that the news is on my day off. Lol
That being said, they could reveal some more trainers, Pokemon, starter evos. Not too sure at this point.
Black and White 2 having you encounter the mons was a blessing. Not only could you easily soft reset for shiny mons/ natures, they were all still fair to capture. And if you weren't ready, you could easily prepare and come back.
In order:
1. The original Black and White. Why?
-Limited amount of Pokemon. With no prior knowledge you have to learn how each pokemon works. Too many Unova mons evolve at a high level and unless you grind it is impossible to do it pre end game for some of them (Hydreigon) without any trading...
Pokemon games are pretty on the easy side. I think difficulty wise I wouldn't mind a better implementation of the BW2 system, but at the same time I think it should also be aware of how to balance it out so you don't restrict player freedom.
For most hard modes in RPGs you get the standard...
Maybe the wild area has something to do with it? Who knows.
That's being said, I'm glad they at least found a way to compress the game to a reasonable size compared to other 120GB games.
I like the idea of them treating gyms like actual sport leagues with sponserships. I've seen people rag on the uniforms, but honestly, let them have it this gen. Every other gen it's treated more as a part-time job or rite of passage, so having one gen wearing a uniform won't be too bad. If...
