It will only ask me to save after I have selected 'yes' to "Do you want to trade?" on both games. So no, that doesn't work, thanks though.- Dunkalax

I talk to them at the exact same time. The link cable I am using has one end that is grey and one end that is purple, and the gameboy that the grey end is connected to is the one that asks me to save.- Dunkalax
