You know where the script is in the base ROM, right? Why not look it up in there?

Sounds like things are progressing well! Good luck with scripting, it was my bane when I was hacking Gen II.

Sounds like the warps might be placed in a weird place within the ROM itself, maybe the warps are overlapping some other event regarding the lab?

As I've said before, I'm not exactly sure of myself on that side of things, but I was told to keep at least 4 buffer bytes between each event/warp/signpost/et cetera.

I found a good tutorial on YouTube, but the audio quality isn't the greatest lol.

Still, it provides step by step instructions on how to skip the truck part completely, but you'll have to make some edits after that to clean up, but you'll figure that out no problem.

An Emerald hack, and you need to edit the truck introduction? There should be a number of tools that can help you there. Like a start map tool, though I don't know if such a tool exists for Emerald yet... I honestly don't know, sorry.

I'm in -6 at the moment. US Central Time, Nebraska lol. Now you should be able to find out if we are in the same time zone. (A lot of computers and devices just use Chicago as the denotation for my time zone)

I'm interested in any Kanto, Johto, and (simple) Hoenn hacks. But I don't really like all the new features in the main series like Mega Evolution and stuff, so when I hear about a new hack featuring Johto or Kanto I can't help but get a little excited lol.

Visitor Messages are almost identical to Private Messages, except that they are publicly available to anyone who visits your profile. Obviously, the usual rules apply, so no need to get crazy lol. And on that note, if you have any questions feel free to ask, if I don't know the answer I'll just let you know and apologize, but if I have the answer I'll gladly share it. :3
