I'm at a point in Omega Ruby where Sootopolis gym is still locked but I've progressed as far in the story as I can and I can't figure out where to go next. I googled it and apparently I'm suppose to go to the Cave of Origin but the guy there still tells me to leave?

Everyone went crazy over Yuri on Ice. Up until that point I had never really watched much anime except Pokemon, and then (absolutely ages after it came out) someone suggested it to me and I watched it. Then...yeah.
