Just translated the braille screenie into this Bolded what I thought was wrong, and pretty certain I translated right :D Looks good, not had much time to play the original so I figure I'll wait for EX to be released to play :)

Try a different Ruby Rom When I downloaded all the stuff I needed(Ruby Rom, gbata and the IPS file), it all worked fine and all I had to do was to change the save type ;)

Like said above the patching could be the issue. Make sure the Ruby Rom is American and clean. I used Gbata(Google it) to patch the rom, used the 128k settings and the game worked fine for me ;)

Open VBA, go to Emulator, Save Type, change it to 128k where the numbers are, close it, open it up, make sure the setting is still 128k and if so, open up your game and play ;)

This reminds me slightly of Final Fantasy VI and I loved that game :D Love the graphics also, can't wait to see more :)
