Great that just about all I need to know about EV training for now. Should I keep track of what EV's i gotten? If you were extremely rich in the game could you just buy proteins and all that?

Oh, right I understand now ;) For arguments sake you get 1 EV in speed from a Starly, this is regardless of whether it is wild or what level it is and it doesn't matter if your level 70 you still get the EV. Seems a bit easy to EV train on a pokemon that you can KO in one hit.

What if its a wild pokemon your battling? Do you get the same amount of EV's from it then?

When EV training too does it matter what level a Pokemon is?

Ok :) So just guess how Im going to use a Pokemon and choice witch nature will be beneficial? I always tried to get a nature for Turtwig that would decrease attack seeing as though it would end up so high and then increase speed. And the only irreversible things are nature and EV's right. If...

Thanks :). Yeah, Charizard has always been my favorite. I prefer fire type Pokemon and I like dragons even though Charizard isn't actually a dragon type but he looks like one anyway ;).

Ok then thanks :) Ill worry about Turtwigs nature as its kinda hard to get another one. And I hate having to search and search for the right nature. What nature is best for a Turtwig? Is it better to decrease a high stat and add it onto a low one or the other way around?

Yeah think Ill complete the game first. I might concentrate on my Turtwig along the way though. Also Ive never really cared too much abut natures, are they worth the extra 10% stat increase and decrease?

Well I recently got Diamond and Ive been reading about Sweepers and Healers and that sort of thing (I'm new to all that stuff). And I'm wondering if I should just finish the game first and then worry about that stuff.

Hey :) I first played Pokemon when Gold came out and and then again when Sapphire was out. I wasn't too into it then but I've been back into it and serious for awhile now. There's a lot I don't get, like Sweepers, healers and stuff like that. Hopefully I will get it soon enough ;)

Gold was the first gameboy colour game I ever owned. A g/s/c remake would be awsome but I doubt there will be one. Without a Johto region all the others feel incomplete. If one was made would it include Kanto aswell? Becasue Johto on its own would be a short game compared to Diamond and Pearl.
