Ok, I'm not one of those people who looks through a Nostalgia Filter and is all, "OMG [insert previous characters here] were they best how could they go???" Because I understand the importance of bringing in new characters and companions with Ash, and even if I do miss some of them dearly...

I KIND OF feel the same way with just one mechanic... how there are no running shoes in the first and second gen. games :P I find that I can still play those games but I can only tolerate them when playing on an emulator so I can speed it up.
