Indeed, it's never been done. GameFreak have broken the formula before though. It would be a perfect way to keep the generation fresh.

Considering the lack of Pokémon in Gen 6 I wouldn't be surprised if this was a completely new legendary Pokémon featured in the third XY game, alongside another considerable number of Pokémon to add to the sixth generation. If not that, the movies have often featured/revealed next gen Pokémon...

If Gabby and Ty aren't in this game I will be so upset. The Interviewers (the Reporter and Cameraman) were my favourite trainer class in R/S/E. I thought it was cute how they would ask the player for feedback on the battle afterwards which would appear on TV.

The original series has a bunch of great summer-theme'd episodes. To name a few; Beauty and the Beach, Beach Blank-Out Blastoise and The Pi-Kahuna. The Beauty and the Beach dub did manage to air in 2000 but was edited to remove any scenes deemed inappropriate for younger audiences.

Overall it's design isn't very compelling in my eyes. But yes, I agree it does have a somewhat serpentine form. It's speed stat is reasonable, and as someone already mentioned, can learn Extreme Speed, so I'd assume it can move quite fast. Though, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this Pokémon...

No, the shaking bushes are located in the middle path of the route. They shake at random and a Pokémon will jump at you if you walk close to them.

I haven't encountered such a character, but if it helps there's a girl in one of the houses of Shalour City that will hand you a Soothe Bell, which helps make your Pokémon friendlier.
