I tried both mGBA and VBA and both freeze attempting to challenge Roxanne. A fresh new save with the same randomizer setting doesn't repeat the issue. I even tried patching a fresh Pokemon Emerald (U) rom with the 1.5.1 update via rom patcher JS site (the included NUPS application doesn't work...- Evan Tildrum

Luckily I backed up the save before making a new one. It's attached. It's at the beginning of the fight with Roxanne, the rock gym leader, that causes the freeze.- Evan Tildrum

This is legit my favourite ROM hack. I love the work but I have one major bug to report. I'm running mGBA 0.9.2 and the latest version of this rom hack (v1.5).
