I put it into sleep mode unless I am going to bed or something, then I shut down. There is very few cases when Hibernate would be necessary. Only when you had no source of power for a long time and needed everything saved (though sleep can last for several days).

Statistically Facebook is still far ahead of Twitter with active users and such. The rate at which facebook is getting users is slowing down....but it is still growing fast.

People hack because they can. It's something to do and it's great when it works.

By the sound of it....it seems like you are using a free webs or wordpress. I have had several domains and they were all fresh so I didn't know how many visitors they would get. And yes, I don't consider it a website without a custom domain. .com .net and .org are good. $10
