Thanks for the assist but unfortunately it didn't help. Following that guide, the music was still as it was. I completely forgot that this ROM I'm trying to edit has already been hacked. All of the music has been replaced (well, new tracks have been added, the original music is still there)...

How do I go about changing the music that's played when you fight a Gym Leader/Elite 4? I want the normal Trainer Battle theme to play instead.

Drat! It looks like these tracks were, quite literally inserted into the ROM as when I play a track in the current list, the regular music played.

That worked like a charm, thank you! Got a bit confused at 1st as there were 3 hidden sections in the list in A-Map. The 1st one resets the ROM when the sprite should be on screen (quite funny actually!). The 2nd one only hid the bottom half of the sprite and the 3rd was a total hide. Thank you...

I use trainerbattle 0x3 alot for forced battles, it's also used for the battles against Giovani (Team Rocket HQ/Silph Co.).

Also, those 2 checkflags work perfectly togeather. checkflag 0x237 is the flag to say "You've got CUT!" To be honest I wasn't sure if it was gonna work, but I tried it and it worked 1st time without fail!
