I daresay it's probably not a good idea to trade with strangers at all on the PSS, except on the GTS. Holding someone's Pokemon hostage for shinies is really as low as it gets.

Cloning is aight I guess. It's not something I'd do myself, though I wouldn't be averse to using a cloned Ditto for breeding. I suppose it kinda devalues the rarity of shinies, or the exclusivity of event Pokemon, but people want what they want. Injecting is what I'd be opposed to though.
