bulbasaur is supposed to be the best choice, but i chose squirtle on my red and i did fine. i've had the fire starter pokemon before on other games and it grows into a very poweful pokemon! but squirtle's definately my favourite

i agree. it annoys me how they keep bringing out new consoles. i have game boy, game boy colour and advance SP, and now they're bringing out DS! AGRH! im gonna buy it, but i haven't got a job yet (the only one going is paper round... bleh) so i dont really have much money! but anyway, if i knew...

but don't you need a badge to use surf? oh no wait i don't think you do... i see! i think i'm gonna try that on my yellow version and trade something with surf to my red. i started again on my yellow so i can get mew!

they took missingno out of yellow... but it screwed up my pokemon league record on red!

i struggled to catch articuno when it was asleep, had a tiny bit of HP left with an ultra ball! i had to chuck a fair few... can't believe people can do it with pokeballs!

i don't think there's anything wrong with it, if you're never gonna get the ticket any other way! i dunno if there's gonna be an event in England to get the Aurora ticket, but if there was i doubt i'd be able to go. actually, my mum would have taken me to the event where you got Mew a few years...

i would but... training to Lv 100 is gonna be very hard... i think rare candies do effect the HP actually, they certainly effect all of the other stats

i see... i'd love to get mew but i couldn't be bothered to train it up (mines level 100 from a gameshark but i never use it as im so worried it'll screw my game up. im fine with me lv 84 blastoise!). also i really don't want to start again! maybe i should buy a new game cartridge, i bet they're...

where is the truck??? i can't find it on any of my game versions! and i first was shown the missingno cheat in 2000 i believe, as i was on a coach going to the millenium dome! the first i heard of the mew glitch was last year, but i don't know how old it actually is.

that's odd, about it not listening to you... i guess it was just a glitch. maybe the programmers were messing around and put it in, but didn't take it out properly, or left it in as a joke. they did that on spyro the dragon with the squid skateboard! does the charizard have any odd stats? maybe...

cool! use them on something you only want to train to fill your pokedex, like LilLatias said. the only thing i find on wild pokemon is berries!

are the unknown on one of the islands? (i've only done 1 2 and 3) i caught all the unknowns on silver and all that happened was that you got to print them off... :( and i hadn't even got a printer

uh, i thought i'd ask this here as everyone seems to be getting into trouble for posting questions in new threads instead of here. but anyway... is there actually any berries in berry forest on three island? i did the islands yesterday and i couldn't help but wonder. i sound really stupid...
