There is nothing weird about that. Mew, like Ditto can transform into other pokemon. Those two are the only pokemon that can learn Transform. You wouldn't think that a Ditto transforming is weird, so why is it weird for Mew?

i can only think of a few reasons why it's banned. 1. ash dresses up like a girl 2. brock tries to chase and hug ash while he is dressed like a girl 3. may talks too openly about love they're all pretty unreasonable reasons, but i can think of no other reason why it was banned.
