nice, i finally got past the rival event. so i hear that dusknoir and other pokemon are in this game. are there ways to get around the whole trading thing (like catching a horsea/seadra and training it to be a kingra or duskull to dusclops to dusknoir)?

can anyone help me get past this battle with my rival right outside of the docks? the game goes black after that point.

when i got to latim city, bottom right house, i talked to the guy there and my game froze. Sucks now, cuz my trapinch was level 23 and it was a long time before i saved last. It also took me so long to beat the first gym with trapinch. It was level 20 when i beat it.
