Hmmm, it was a lot more custom than Rocket edition and you still played as a good guy. Honestly, I could be confusing it for dark rising or insurgence maybe but when I looked at playthroughs none of them looked familiar :(

Hey, I remember playing a fan-made game years ago now it feels like where the gym leaders were evil and corrupt. And there was a special catching mechanic where you took their main mon (I THINK). Any ideas what game this may of been?
