When I was in around 2nd or 3rd grade my friend Mae brought her giant binder of pokemon cards that she found at her vacation spot (she found them, I feel bad for that kid that lost the binder now). I really wanted one and so she gave me a starmine. I'm pretty sure I lost that card a long time ago but this started my love for pokemon.
I was an active card collector, about until 6th grade. Our local flea market would have this one booth that sold about 10 gen 1 pokemon cards for a dollar.
Around 3rd or 4th grade I wanted to get a pokemon game for my DSI. So I dragged my mom to Wallmart and bought the game with my own money. The game was White 2, sadly the 3ds had been out for a while so the game had no internet features. I never finished that game. I let my cousin Drake borrow it and If you are reading this Drake I want the game back its been at least a year man.
I've played Alpha Saphire and Sun. I'm working on Diamond and Ultra moon.
