I enjoyed Gold/Silver and Ruby/Sapphire most.

It's not that big of a deal.

My favorite anime series, by no contest, is the Shakugan no Shana series. 1,2,3, and S.
And I also greatly enjoy the original light novel. The original novel is almost required to fully enjoy later parts of the anime.

Japanese only, obviously. I abhor the English dub, as with most dubs.

I've never been called weeb, but so what? If liking some things I really love, that happen to be anime makes me one, so be it.

Weebs to me are more Otakus, where they'll like ANYTHING so long as it's "anime". That's not me. I'll like anything if it appeals to me, regardless of genre.

Yeah it is fun to beat the whole game. I could never get the full dex as I didn't have another gameboy or friends to trade with.
Gen 5 was ok, I had quit playing before Black/White came out, and I bought the game because I was bored one day.

This is a very long time ago for me, I am now in my late 20s. I was about 9 or 10 and I remember when kids at school started bringing in pokemon trading cards and the collectable toys, thats when I got interested. I don't remember exactly when I started watching the anime, but it was on every day before school. Over the years the games and fan-fiction were more interesting to me.
As an adult I have other interests, so sometimes I will come back to it if or when I want to chat about pokemon or replay games. I only use this forum.
So how long have you been into pokemon?

Cool, with the anime I only watched the original series and Johto, plus most of XYZ.

My favourites are gen 1 and 2, and after that gen 3 and 5.
I haven't played any of the games past gen 5.

Haha same thing happened when I played some of Crystal. I want to go back and play it again sometime.
I like to play nuzlockes because that makes it more interesting.

It didn't annoy me, but I'm curious why you found it interesting to ask everyone the same stock questions.
It's almost like you're fishing for fellow FPS fans, from what I can tell, rather than genuine interest in the people.

I don't know, imagine if in your topic, someone asked you a series of questions they give to literally everyone else? Wouldn't you feel underwhelmed, like, "I want you to ask me questions about myself personally", as that's the reason the topic exists.
