^ while you do bring up a decent point, I still find giving Shota mega sceptile a cheap shortcut in order to juice up a rivalry that hasn't been "there" yet. I haven't seen him enough to definitively say that he for sure has the same bond with sceptile that Satoshi has shown to have with greninja.

Ash-greninja is definitely anime exclusive since they called it that. I see TF's anime arc kicking off soon too, focusing on whatever zygarde storyline will be in the game. Since we haven't had any real TF action, I guess they were saving it for this.

For now, it is unbalanced. Mega Kangaskhan > everything else. Because only so many megas can be released with each game, the choices are limited. Until we get a new game, mega kangaskhan will continue to see the most usage competitively and run house.
