Suggestion: Tier 5 Supporter added benefit

Just out of cureosity, do the changes you speak of involve having the user's ID (primary key) stored in the posts table instead of the name?

Suggestion: Tier 5 Supporter added benefit

I have access to VBulletin 5 connect, I could probably investigate the database structure and find out whether or not it is still storing string litterals. To be honest I'd be surprised if it has changed. I am personally not a fan of name changes either for the same reason you mentioned. The...

Suggestion: Tier 5 Supporter added benefit

Regarding name changes and such, and please feel free to correct me if this is off topic but I wanted to contribute this. As a web developer myself I think the name change issue is a testament to the fact that VBulletin is not worth it's going rate. I mean, this is a major design flaw in my...

Pokécommunity should make better use of the HTML header system.

Would they work in thread or forum titles? I think that's what Pokemonmasteraaron is suggesting?

Pokécommunity should make better use of the HTML header system.

Hello, He's talking about the HTML heading tags. This is probably difficult to do since PC uses commercial forum software, and I'd suspect that it would require a good bit of modification to vBulletin itself. In HTML, (now this might get filtered), the statement <h1>Pokemon</h1> would create a...

The Staff Feedback Thread! [read the first post!]

Yeah, I do. Nothing's investigated, mods can do no wrong. Exclusion, Cyberbullying (in the case of unapproved challenges in some cases), etc. Obviously you guys are all pretty close with one another, maybe even in person, which is cool and all but evidently there's no objectivity anywhere.

that have the ability to remain unbiased in conflicts, That's something we need here real bad. Maybe it exists in some areas, in fact I know it does. However it doesn't in others. I am sure licenses etc has something to do with it, someone has to pay your webhost to keep your server in...

The Staff Feedback Thread! [read the first post!]

What I was getting at is that it would force them to make promices to the community in order to maintain the vote of confidence. Higher staff are higher staff because they own the domain name, web server, cPanel/WHM license, vBulletin license, etc.

The Staff Feedback Thread! [read the first post!]

Since the discussion did continue on through the night I figure I'd say this. Some of the staff responses to those last few posts are, as stated above quite shalow. To not give someone or something a chance, and to just say it has no potential with no supporting evidence of such is to say that...

The Staff Feedback Thread! [read the first post!]

Not trying to dictate anything over here. The OP asked for honest feedback. Sorry if mine wasn't what was hoped for. I took the offerred chance to post honest feedback without having to walk on egg shells or candy coat anything. That's what was offerred. Anyway, the last post states that this is...

The Staff Feedback Thread! [read the first post!]

Hello, I fully understand why challenges, hacks, roleplays etc have to go through an approval process, and why many will not pass scrutany; however, there's a big difference between rejecting something/someone's idea and outright ridiculing them for something they may or may not be able to help...

The Staff Feedback Thread! [read the first post!]

Hello, For one, the term "Walkthrough" is not accurate; he was simply asking for some information about the map so he could pass a few areas which he cannot already pass. He is simply asking for someone, if willing, to take the time to provide him with information that other people automatically...

The Staff Feedback Thread! [read the first post!]

Hello, My obsessing over it may be true. However, I stand for what is right, and being able to post a generation three pokemon game related topic in a generation three pokemon forum regardless of life circumstances is what is right. I am sure the community would rather have a forum topic about...

The Staff Feedback Thread! [read the first post!]

Hello. I know that I am not around here much, but I do wish to say my piece if I may. My friend Pokemonmasteraaron and I are both visually impaired. Though we are both reasonable and understand that rules exist for a reason, we feel we have been mistreated by select staff. It started in...

Quick Questions & Answers / "Where do I post this?"

Hello, Several questions here, just out of cureosity: 1. Who is PC's web hosting provider? 2. Is it shared hosting, VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosting or dedicated server hosting? 3. Specifically which of your provider's hosting plans is this site subscribed to (or, what are your limits in...
