Aethestode should have blocked the path to New Islands. I accidentally glitched that chapter by going there before the Cinnabar's PC. Also, for anyone who doesn;t want to restart, there's an option of walk through walls (not that I advice anyone to cheat).

Funny thing. I turned off the final electrical fences by save right before and run toward the stairs. It suddenly resets the game, and the barriers vanish.

Hey man, the game is indeed, buggy. I got to Astervilla, and boy it's sure is dangerous. The PC is unusable (good thing I can go back to Olenburg). The crowd sometimes reappear, which is hard to ignore. And in the Salon, if the first Trainer's Jigglypuff uses Play Nice, the game freezes...

So much for my Lunar New Year holidays. Guess I'll stick to Digimon.
