I've always thought that Toradora was incredibly cringey and the dialogue was laughable. There were enjoyable moments but overall i felt that the characters were all cut-and-paste and the concept pandered.

I dont recall ever having trouble with her in crystal when i played it. In Heartgold i remember it was slightly more challenging than the average gym, but still nothing crazy.
