None right now. Most Pokemon are the same, other than trades. For example, you would use an Electirizer on an Electabuzz instead of trading it with one, and Kadabra/Machoke/etc. evolve using a new Link Cable item.

We don't know. Life has been rather unpredictable as of late. The Alpha isn't even close to half of the game. We don't have a version out yet that showcases more than the three towns. We'll be sure to let everyone know when a new version is out!
