I have never completed the elite four with more than 40 pokemon on my pokedex. I normally just upgrade my team when I find a better pokemon, but never catch for the sake of catching.

pokemon shinygold is the best bootleg I have ever played, mainly because it is one of the best rom hacks. generally, however, if you want non-nintendo pokemon games, rom hacks are so much more available, free, easy to play and generally better than bootlegs. and for a rom hack, pokemon light...

You can still do this, I have all three. The only difference is you have to be pinpoint when turning off the game. It took me 5 hours to find the precise moment.

I had a similar idea. I am willing to put all my time into working on this, as long as I could finish my story/continuation ideas. Then I would jump straight into it.
