A question: Since this hack is going to be in Chinese, is the hack based on the bootleg Chinese translation that was made on top of the Japanese version of the game, or was it made on top of the English version with a new translation made from scratch?

I found it on one of these Chinese sites that puts the ROMs in .apk files, and took the screenshots myself.

On the topic of translations: Almost 2 months ago, I found a Chinese translation: Not everything is translated though. The title screen, the Pokédex entries, item descriptions, some signposts and various menus are still English. The ROM was also expanded to 32 MB.

Have you tried deleting the .sav file that gets created in the same folder as the ROM?
