I don't really blame Green Day for ruining punk. I say that if anybody did, it's the modern "hardcore" and post-hardcore bands like Falling in Reverse, Asking Alexandria, and stuff like that. I much, much prefer old-school hardcore like Black Flag.

1371 songs. Considering the number of 20-minute or more songs in my iTunes, I'd say I have a pretty healthy collection. Mostly made up of metal and its various subgenres, post-rock, electronica, alternative, hard rock, and rap.

I have a pretty decent-sized collection of CDs laying around my house, and a few vinyl records. I have bought some music off iTunes and gotten quite a few free albums off of bands' websites, but I much prefer to have a physical copy of an album. As for games and books, it really doesn't matter...

They Say - Scars on Broadway I really don't know why this album isn't better-known. I think it really stands up to SOAD's stuff.

Really, there's not too much that I won't listen to :P You'll find pretty much everything in my iTunes from light ambient to Devin Townsend and Carcass. I do come back to metal most often though, and I've been working on writing some experimental metal stuff.
