Like colcolstyles said, GBA game development would help, along with game art/sprite creation. A GBA remake would involve downloading the rom, which is not the most legal thing to do and might hurt your chances.

Wassup people, im h0b0,(obviosly) I play pokemon a little but i'm more into rom hacking. Im good at spriting and mapping, and would like to learn how to script. I can program in VB and think it would be cool to make a hack for pokemon.
