No Gen V's got a mega evo, so I reckon some of them could be interesting to make, particularly Galvantula and Bisharp. I'd also like to see Metagross, Golem, Magmortar/Electrivire, Exploud and Skarmory. Exploud could become a dark type, to make it a little more interesting.

I was gonna wait for Z, 'til I looked at how long it took for Emerald and Platinum to come out. You're looking at around a two year wait.

My favourite would probably be Chatot. I like it's design, but the main reason I think is it's role in Mystery Dungeon (2). Although I've never used it in a team before. I also like most of the new evolutions, bar Lickylicky and Tangrowth. Lucario was pretty cool too ^_^

Grass Types can be a pain, so I'd recommend Toxicroak: they are weak to Poison. You can find Croagunk in the Safari Zone. ;)

Good luck! Gardenia will be a pain, since there are no blue fire, flying, bug, ice or poison pokemon before the gym. :( The only way I got through was with Prinplup, who learns Peck at some point. The rest are fairly easy :) What other pokemon were you planning to add to your team?

It's good, but you've got quite a few water types! I'd recommend a Flying type like Jumpluff to take care of Grass types. You've already got Nidoqueen, so she's good for Electric Types. So a Flying Type is all I have to recommend. Maybe if you get tired of looking for Water Stones ;P What about...
