HeatOfBattle

I'm friendly and upbeat; no need to worry! I always make it a point to treat online discussions with as much respect and dignity as a physical meeting.
My first taste of this wonderful franchise was, like 90% of its fans, through the anime, at the tender age of seven. As a kid, I remember watching playthroughs of Red/Blue/Yellow and Ruby/Sapphire, and I was introduced to most Gen 1 and Gen 3 Pokemon. However, I dropped my interest at the beginning of my preteen years, and came back, at the age of 13? (I was a loser at that time). That was when I completed a Pokemon game for the first time, White Version, on an emulator. From then on, a tryst with this diverse all-ages franchise began, mostly concentrated in the DS generations.
As to why I play on emulators? I don't have the time or money to afford games and consoles...:-(. Too bad Nintendo has a phobia against them...

Favorite Pokémon
Mammalian quadruped Pokemon are the best. Especially Absol, Arcanine and Luxray.
I'm not against humanoids(they can be likened to superheroes) and beastlike mons('cause most of them are BADASS) either. Basically, any Pokemon whose design and lore appeals to me.
