I'm curious as to how far you are into development and whether you plan to release any beta's in the future?
With promises like these I'm going to find it hard to wait for any of them :P
I think you misunderstood, I'm saying design-wise it would be better to not add shadows at all and address the tiles similarly to how they are in the other gen3 games.
Firered had little to no shadows, and to avoid visual vibration in their tiles they used outlines like just about every other...
I've noticed some problems and inconsistencies in some of your tiles.
Allow me to explain some of my concerns.
More than likely by accident your letting some tiles with shadows slip in, like the sign in the .gif above.
If the player, npcs and buildings all have no shadows no other tile...
They are all pokemon!
Nice additions to the dex, I can't wait to play this beautiful romhack.
So how do you plan on using the other regions? Will each one have 8 gyms or will there be a series of islands the player travels across to get all the badges?
Interestingly I notice no jirachi, leads me to think she will make her appearance later in the game. Very authentic first region dex you chose, honestly i wouldn't change it at all.
Hope to see flaaffy in region 2 if she fits in :)

Do you have any plans on adding in the follow-me shinyquagsire made and allowing a select few pokemon to follow the player in future versions of the game?

I may have to break the game and add them back in causing dragon trainers across the board to have flaffy's x3

I'm curious, why work on platinum blue features now?
Not saying you guys aren't capable but I would imagine finishing red first and then modifying blue afterwards would allow things to run more efficiently.
