I always evolve mine unless I'm adding them to my living Dex. The only other time was when I got a shiny Meowth (normal) and found that there was hardly a difference when I evolved it, so I soft reset my game so I could keep the nicer Meowth.

Mine was a Pidgey that I hatched. I actually had to ask my husband (who'd played from the very first games) what was going on because it was a different color. I even knew what Shiny Pokemon were, but without the sparkles, it completely went over my head!

I had to say the ice tile puzzle in...my Alpha Sapphire game. I'm not sure what gym it was. I had to look up a video for the third level of that because I suck at puzzles like that.

For me, every time it was the strongest Pokemon in the game. Y: Mewtwo Alpha Sapphire: Lugia Moon: Necrozma Even if I learned that just throwing balls at Legendaries would catch them eventually, those three proved far too stubborn/dangerous.

I've currently caught Wishiwashi, Lilipup (now a Stoutland), 6 Eevees (now Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon and Glaceon, pending Espeon), Igglybuff (now a Wigglytuff). Still trying to hatch Rufflet and currently hunting Surskit. [Edit] Oh, and question: Is shiny Type: Null available, or is...

I haven't seen anything like that for Nintendo, but for the computer or playstation, yes. I wouldn't be able to handle it because even 3D glasses make me dizzy.

I've never seen the need to avoid battles, they're a good way to level up your Pokemon and get money. It's the only reason I'm rich in my Y game. Love the Battle Chateau!

For the Dex, yes, but nowadays? No. I guess I've always been a shiny hunter at heart.

It would be really cool, but as with the post about an open world Pokemon game, I don't think this concept would ever come out. Possible fan game, but not a main series game.

I'm a casual player and didn't play anything until X/Y, but I'd have to say that S/M had to be the harder of the games, especially when I had to stop and grind my team because I realized that the next Trial was too high in level. The Ultra Beasts almost murdered me, even if I was twenty levels...

I'd have to agree with everyone here, Pokemon Bank makes everything easier, and I only started sixth gen, so I don't know what this "Pal Park" is.

Well, now that I've thought about it, I'd have to say my favorite's Furret, and it was my second full-odds wild encounter. It's so cute and the shiny's colors compliment it perfectly!
