Cool stuff! Have you tried taking a look at .bps patching? It reduces the size of the patch by ~.5MB plus it checks the hash of the original rom to make sure you don't patch the wrong (Rev 1) one. Floating Lunar IPS supports it and it's just as easy as lunar ips...

I just checked because the other people were mentioning they were using scene releases and compared it against my rom. I was trying to say it isn't a rom issue because it matches, they must have mixed up patches.

I found 1636 - Fire Red Squirrels and it seems to match the rom I used. Someone else reported 1635 so maybe it's a bad dump but I can't seem to find info on that, #1635 seems to be "Crushed Baseball" from VENOM so I'm not 100% sure.

Hotfix works for my rom fine. No-Intro unpatched. CRC32 pre-patch: DD88761C CRC Post-patch: B8C46637 using mGBA 0.5.1 and also real hardware.

Is this just an issue with carts w/o RTC or does it not work with the EDGBA or an M3 that do? Is the ASM Read-Only for RTC, or is it pulled from R/S/E because those mess with the internal clock?

No problem, it's all good. I'm assuming it's only for that sprite since it's not affecting anything else in-game so it's not a huge problem at all. Having a great time so far, definitely a great way to go back into fire red.

I'm getting this on my rom on real hardware too (ED-GBA), No-Intro without revision (for obvious reasons). Not a big deal after you start the game. Trainer card looks fine. All the music is working perfectly.

I highly doubt his life depends on finishing a pokemon romhack, I wouldn't be surprised or upset if something in real life takes precedence over this. This is a 3DS romhack, not a DS romhack, and this only includes the patches. Completely different systems.

Yeah, as cool as I think liquid crystal is, when I fired it up and immediately saw Professor Elm with the line "What the hell was that" just didn't fit so much with me.
