I prefer female in most cases. For breeding purposes mainly. Another reason is ppl I play with have one or two pkmn with attract and it can be annoying (on a female since there are more males).

I caught a shiny rattata. Got it when I was EV training on Hootoot. It has moderate stat and has neutral nature. Well, shiny is a shiny. Probability is 1/8192. I'm surprised that not many people have their shinies. Or have people not being EV training XP
