You ran a search but did you run a search in Pokebank? There have been tons of times I KNOW that I took a pokemon from pokebank but ended up not, or I KNOW I have a pokemon in my in game PC but it mysteriously just appeared within Pokebank and I have no memory of ever putting it there...
