Ok, thnks for the answer. By the way is it the same with retreats? If you retrat you don't discard energycrads unless the pokemoncard tells you to do so?

Say you have attached three enegrycards to a basic Pokemon, and you make an attack that cost two energycards. Do you discrad two of the attached cars, which leave you with only one card left for next turn?
