rpg maker 2k3 works on vista but not rm2k or rmxp without doing what the tutorial that Glitch wrote. atleast thats what i heard from a vista user

well if you want game development search rpg maker 2000/3k or rpg maker xp, and look for starter kits for the rpg maker if you don't have any idea how to make games. most of them are posted here, and you can also look for tutorials on the net. *Note* there's a lot of other engines you can use...

thx ^^ i'm working on the game's database atm making all the pokemons for my game and making 99 classes (1 for each type of pokemon including the mixed ones like fire/flying, ect) i'm about half way done with the classes and once i finish that i can work on the super/not effectives on the cbs...

this is game development as in not HACKING, we make are games custom with engines unless people use starter kits which is pointless because the point of making a game is for YOU to make it -.- but i can't help you out i know nothing about hacking

only reason your files can get corrupted is if you're turning off rmxp wrong. For example: Having rmxp on with your project open and turning off/un-pluging the computer. or if rmxp crashes while you're working on your game(happend to me once for both examples) normal all you do is make a new...

no the pokemon font not the messages >.< the font in your games folder called Pokemon RS or something and the file type says True Type Font File.... if you don't know how to add font please search =P

well your using ecplise for the engine for this right? well i know how to map with ecplise but atm i don't have any free time i got lots of stuff to do x.x

I have found a platformer for rmxp on rmxp.org before not sure if its still their or if its good, never tried it. and by text file i ment the Font -.- sry for the confusion =x

This looks nice but the text thats under the character thats what they said right?shouldn't that be on top of the character?most mmorpgs have the msg on top of the character. Well i don't know if you fixed it or anything i don't really want to go through all pages =P well good luck ;D
