if this IS still being worked on, can we get Platinum fixed? I've also been met with the issue where the palette randomizer by type only randomizes the original types (piplup is blue while being dark type, turtwig is green while being fire type etc). I don't know if I'm doing this wrong somehow...
Yeah that must be it, I didn't know you needed to set those values even if you didn't intend on changing any variables and could just do it all through flags. I guess script tiles are a bit different though. Thank you.
I'm really not sure where I'm going wrong here. What I want to happen is the character is stopped, put into the dialogue, then is forced to take a step back. I've tried making it always work without the flag, rearranged it a couple times, and nothing is working.

Yeah, I had to repoint the party data since I added new Pokemon to their party.
And now I went to go try things but when I launch HTE, it's giving me an error that I don't know how to fix. And another error that crashes the program if I try to load a ROM. I don't think I did anything horribly...
Trying to add a new trainer (under ID #47) and essentially what's happening is whenever I give them Pokemon with a higher ID than 0xFF (basically every 3 digit #) it only reads the first two digits.
So say I add Milotic (#149 in the game), write the team to a new pointer, plop the battle...
